Strategy has gone back to buying Bitcoin after a one-week break.
The company bought 811 BTC for about $65.5 million in the week from 26 October to 1 November, at an average price of about $80,846 per coin, according to a filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
“As of 11/1/26, we hold 849,327 BTC,” Strategy said on X.
The company has spent about $64.08 billion on its Bitcoin in total, at an average cost of about $75,451 per coin.
How it paid
Strategy funded the purchase by selling 1,178,552 shares of its MSTR stock, raising about $164 million in net proceeds. Of that, $65.5 million went on Bitcoin and $98.5 million went into its US dollar cash account.
More STRC buybacks
Strategy also bought back 2,092,035 of its STRC preferred shares for $208.2 million, paid for from its cash account.
That left the account at $132.7 million, down from $242.4 million a week earlier.
The pause
The week before, Strategy bought no Bitcoin for the first time since mid-September, and spent $204.9 million on STRC buybacks instead. The week before that, it bought 267 BTC for $22.1 million.
Close to its cost price
With Bitcoin trading at around $77,800, Strategy’s holdings are worth about $66.1 billion. That is about 3% above what the company paid for them.
What happens next
Strategy’s weekly filings will show whether it keeps buying Bitcoin, keeps putting cash into STRC buybacks, or splits between the two. With its cash account now lower, the pace of MSTR share sales is likely to decide how much it can do of each.
