Quick Summary
  • Pool Savings, Cloud Mining and the Transaction Accelerator are closing alongside the pool
  • Users must finish any required identity checks by 23:59 UTC on 10 November to get a final payout
  • Binance closed its NFT service in July and opened access to more than 7,000 US stocks in June

Binance is closing its Bitcoin mining pool, ending a service it has run since April 2020.

The exchange said the decision followed an “ongoing review of products and services.” Along with Binance Pool, it is shutting Pool Savings, Cloud Mining, the Transaction Accelerator, and the pool’s API, Telegram hashrate alerts and email notifications.

The deadlines

From 07:00 UTC on 10 November, Binance Pool will start disconnecting miners and disable its mining endpoints. Shares submitted after that point will not be credited, while shares submitted before it still count towards final rewards.

Miners need to point their hardware at another pool before the cutoff. Pool Savings users must unsubscribe or redeem their positions before the service ends.

Anyone who needs to complete identity verification to receive a final payout has until 23:59 UTC on 10 November. Binance Pool pages will remain viewable until 07:00 UTC on 24 November, after which they will be permanently inaccessible. Binance says remaining rewards, balances and refunds will be processed afterwards, subject to its product rules, account status and compliance checks.

A small slice of Bitcoin mining

The impact on the Bitcoin network will be modest. At the end of 2025, Binance Pool had about 26 EH/s of hashrate, around 2.3% of the network, making it the ninth largest Bitcoin pool, according to Hashrate Index. Hashrate Index described it as the last pool still running from the era when exchanges rushed into mining.

A wider shift

The closure follows other changes at the exchange. Binance shut its NFT service on 3 July, and in June it opened access to more than 7,000 US stocks and ETFs for customers outside the US.

⚖️ Our Verdict ⚖️ Watch and Wait

This is a housekeeping change, not a market event. Binance Pool held only about 2.3% of Bitcoin's hashrate at the end of 2025, so the network will barely notice, but miners and Pool Savings users have hard deadlines to act on.
