Social trading platform Fomo pulled in more daily revenue than memecoin launchpad Pump.fun on Friday 4 September, according to DefiLlama data.
The Numbers
Fomo recorded $1.76 million in daily revenue on Friday, outpacing Pump.fun’s $1.1 million on the same day. Over the longer 30-day window, however, Pump.fun retains a commanding lead, generating more than $57 million compared with Fomo’s $17.6 million.
What Fomo Does
Fomo blends cryptocurrency trading with a social media-style feed, letting users view each other’s live trades on the platform. The app has been expanding aggressively across 2026.
- In June, Fomo closed a $75 million Series B funding round led by Index Ventures, valuing the company at $550 million.
- More than 68,000 users completed their first cryptocurrency purchase through the app using Apple Pay, generating roughly $25 million in transaction volume.
- On June 11, Fomo launched perpetual futures contracts powered by Hyperliquid, available to users outside the United States.
- On June 2, Fomo announced it had paid out more than $2 million in referral fees to its user base.
Friday Was Not a One-Off
Friday’s result did not come from nowhere. Fomo’s revenue has been climbing through the second half of the year, and it has been outearning large Solana protocols on individual days since early August.
The app’s gross protocol revenue was $7.24 million across the whole of the second quarter. By mid-August it had already reached $13.31 million in the third, according to DefiLlama’s income statement for the protocol. Its strongest week to that point was $2.64 million in the seven days to 8 August, a figure that placed it above Jupiter and Phantom in weekly Solana protocol revenue.
Most of that comes from one source. Fomo charges a fee on every Solana token swap routed through the app, and swap fees account for the large majority of its revenue. The perpetual futures business it added in June is the smaller part.
Context
Pump.fun has dominated Solana’s application revenue charts since its rise as the go-to memecoin launchpad on the network. Friday’s result covers a single day, and Pump.fun’s 30-day total remains more than three times larger than Fomo’s equivalent figure.
